Eastern Sierra Unified % of 5th graders answering "yes, very bad." Anti-smoking and anti-vaping norms are strong (94% and 81%). Policy context: A 2016 Mono County Public Health Department survey of 184 unincorporated Mono adults found 62% supported a ban on flavored tobacco sales. A survey of 70 unincorporated businesses found majority support for smoke-free outdoor dining and 20-foot smoke-free doorway ordinances.
